What do people think of when they hear your name? What are you known for?

Blog post #1

I have 1:45 mins on this airplane.

I also have 2 option....

It’s read a book or document the new things in my life recently.

The book can wait...

Short glimpse..

graduated college early. I had one class left. So $800 later I passed the class with a D.

It’s all about where the test  material is based. I studied the power points, and listened to the lectures but as you can guess,

the information that’s on the test is straight from the book. The answers are not A-D its A-E for multiple choices....

My goal was a "D" to be honest so I’m not complaining or feeling bad in any way shape or form.

Grades don’t test intelligence, they test obedience. It’s very important that kids understand that.

Or else they will live their whole life thinking they're dumb.

School is just like life, you get what you put in. I just have a problem seeing value in the classroom. I can't tell you that I learned a bunch of marketing stuff in college.

As a parent you make sure they ( the child)  put the hours in studying and working for good grades.

But for me, I will not push academics on my future kids but it will be more important on what they do outside of school. I will push learning because I think learning is a key element of success.

As a parent:

If it’s school and Xbox for your kids then you might have problems.

Depends..... I played games like

Pokémon, rollercoaster tycoon, and zoo tycoon.

I learned the concept of saving and spending money on those games.

I made some bad ass theme parks that were very profitable as a kid in the game called roller coaster tycoon.

At 23 I’m running a profitable business, makes sense I guess?

fast forward to my last few months in college....

It was the strangest thing to be honest...

All my friends were applying for jobs and I wasn't.

To be honest I sort of am jealous. I get to live through my friends In the whole interview process. I want what’s best for all of them.

The sad thing is, between me and my readers. I make more than most of what my friends got offered. I will never tell them that but makes me think maybe my degree isn't that valuable. The biggest thing of value I got from College was a faster thought process and more cognitive skills.

But let me remind you, being an entrepreneur sucks. I am performance based. The more I work, the more I get paid. If you know me, you know I put the hours in.

I find a sense of happiness in working though, that’s what separates me from everyone else.

Recently I have a friend that is struggling finding what he’s passionate about, and what he wants to be known for.

Very deep...

a lot of people struggle in this area.

When I say Gary vaynerchuck what do you think of?

When I say Micheal Jordan or Tom Brady what comes to mind?

What’s your brand?  What do people think about when they hear your name?

Deep questions for sure. This is something I’ve grabbed a hold of back in high school.

I want to be known as the biggest hustler people know.

I want to be known as very influential, motivational, wise, and most of all authentic not artificial.

Now whether or not people think that, that’s the goal.

You have to have a goal.

My friend said: now I understand your strategy on snap chat and etc.

bingo! building a brand but honestly its just who I am. I have success incline, which is a guy climbing the mountain.

The mountain of life, the long journey.

Its so broad you can stick that on any business.

incline construction, incline security, incline marketing, Success Incline non profit.

That name can go anywhere....

You have to figure out what makes you happy and build around that. Part time or full time.

Figure out how you are driven and what you want to be known for.

My mom always wanted to be know as a good mother.

Her life mission was to have a family and be the best mom she could be.

And she has been exactly what she wanted to be. Her vision didn’t go according to plan, due to being a single mother but she still achieved her goal with the odds stacked against her.

whats your goal, how are you going to get there?

No matter what stage of life you are in, even if you have lived a long life.... there is still a goal ahead. If you don't have one, you are lost and you need to focus on your happiness.

What do you want to be known for?

Let’s talk about it,

Dm, text, or email me.
